Description:
The essential part of the automatic machine is the mobile machine bridge with the grinding slides-rests with its transverse movement. The bridge travels on a track on fixed guide ways at each side which are mounted on two concrete bases. The length of the track as well as of the concrete table can be chosen freely. The feed movements for the machine bridge and the grinding slide-rest are done by variable speed drives which offer continuously variable speeds and jerk-free reversal of the direction. The guideways of the transverse slide-rest are adjustable. Special planetary head is used. All operations are controlled from main control centre with operation indications. Any step and coarse polishing can be done fast with semi-automatic programme and for fine polishing it can be changed over and automatic as per trucing by the aid of plates which are fixed to the polishing spindle by flexible coupling.Note:
